With live personalization, guests can engage, observe, and leave with something created just for them. Each piece is completed by hand in real time. The process itself becomes part of the experience—quietly drawing attention through craftsmanship and detail.
These are some of the most popular ways calligraphy is incorporated into live events and brand experiences. Each service is tailored to the setting, with careful consideration given to materials, pacing, and guest interaction.
Hand engraving instantly elevates glass or metal objects, perfect for product purchases or guest favors.
Metallic foil that bonds with leather or fabric items, giving them a lustrous finish.
Expressive calligraphy can be achieved with a pointed dip pen or brush marker to add a touch of elegance to paper and non-paper goods.

Bookings start at a minimum of 3 hours and time can be extended as needed. Setup and cleanup time should be accounted for as well. My hourly rate is $200 for standard calligraphy events and $250 for engraving and hot foiling. A travel fee may apply depending on where the event is located.
I like to keep my workspace tidy and organized, so I will usually bring only the essential calligraphy tools required for the engagement with backup equipment. This can include pens, ink, laser liners, engravers, hot foiling pens, and a few cleaning supplies.
Often clients will have supplementary materials specific to the event provided on-site, or they can be sent to my studio and I bring them with me.
Typically I can complete about 20-30 handwritten items and 15-20 engraved or hot foiled items within an hour. Adjustments can be made to word counts to accommodate a greater volume of work. If you have a large guest count, I recommend hiring a team of calligraphers to ensure all items can be completed within the event duration. I can assist with assembling a team of calligraphers as well!
